O God, lover of all who hope in you, without whom nothing has foundation, nothing is holy, grace us in abundance with your love, compassion and mercy and grant that, with you as our friend and guide, we may use the good gifts that are within and around us in such a way so that we will hold fast to a hope that will endure. Dear God in Jesus name please watch over and protect my son, his girlfriend, my daughter, my grandson, my friend and me. Please be closely with us and keep us all safe. Please pray that my wife retires very soon and we are financially stable and physically healthy enough that we can afford our medical insurance and bills, other expected, unexpected bills, share time with family and friends and perhaps enjoy some short trips enjoying the beauty of God’s world at a slower pace. Please pray that until my wife retires she gets good reviews and raises and income tax returns. Please pray that our health conditions do not get worse. Please pray that we travel safely and accident free. Please pray that the Stock Market stabilizes and returns at least some of our retirement savings the money that has been lost so that she can retire. Please ask God to keep our pets healthy and safe and not get separated from us for any length of time unless planned by us. Please pray that we do not have to use our retirement savings to pay our bills yet and that we can somehow save enough to replenish what we have already used. Please help me physically be able to do this without any bad breathing or bad coughing episodes. Please help me to easily climb my sons stairs and not have any severe respiratory problems. Please don't let me have bladder issues. Please guide my sons girlfriend to not give my son a bad time over anything. He's trying so hard to make us happy and give us a memorable day.
