Awaken the faith of all your people, especially those who have grown distant from you, those ready to hear an invitation to the love you alone can bring. Lord as we begin this Holy Week, I offer up my prayers for all those who are less fortunate, for those who are Homeless, those who are Victims of Crime, Violence, Terrorism, Hate, Racial Injustice, Natural and Man-Made Disasters, and for all their Family Members. For those who live with Mental Illness, pray that society will not continue to stigmatize them, and that they may find healing through the intercession of St. Dymphna, and that their family members will be given the strenght throughout their trials of being there to support and see them through, some of the most difficult times in their lives.
