Troubled Hearts - Compassionate God, at times our hearts seem troubled. When this happens, everything becomes an effort, life is difficult, and we struggle to be faithful. In these moments remind us of your Son’s words “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God” Do not let us be afraid and thus give in to life’s troubles. Rather help us, stay close to you, by reaching out to others, doing something creative with passion, and always living the fullness of life. Enliven us always in your Holy Spirit of hope, so that we may live life with Passion together. And may the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts! Amen.

Dear Lord please let my heart valve surgery be successful and let me get a new heart valve which will last a long time. Please lower the anxiety I feel regarding my surgery in October. In addition, please help and comfort the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Thank you!

Lord, Help those in need. Please help all affected by bad weather, storms, and natures extreme occurrences. Help the people of Texas, Louisiana, and where ever needed. Help the first responders, volunteers, all that are working to help others. Heal all suffering and those that have loss loved ones. Allow a fast recovery, cleanup and rebuilding, and methods for future storms and disasters.
