My Lord and God, I pray especially for my late father this week even though it is 42 years since he passed into Your keeping. It was all so sudden and reminds us all that we know not how and when You will call us to be accountable for our life. May he find favour with You. He was a good father and provider. Thank You Lord.

Lord, Please stop unwanted phone calls. When someone is ill, elderly, disabled, physically challenged, or any other impairment the unwanted daily phone calls are disrupted, harassing, irresponsible, challenging and worrisome. They make simple life difficult to be peaceful and uninterrupted in the safety of their own home. What is gained by anyone with these unwanted phone calls? Life for some people is more challenging and difficult without unnecessary careless interruptions. No one is going to want to do business or have any contact with these inconsiderate individuals who cause disruption to living on a daily basis for unwanted "scams". Safety first, if a service is needed people will find it or be recommended to it by respected knowledge. Stop unwanted calls and hurting people.

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Please pray for John's recovery from a serious car accident in South Africa since 2016 and for us to have the funds to pay for his medical bills so he can be released and come home safe and sound.
