O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two children and their husbands. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. That God will reach down from Heaven, as I've seen Him do before, & work a miracle in the life of my oldest son who is close to losing his home. This home changed him as a man, gave him a reason to live, gave him purpose. We are people of limited means. The money to buy this home resulted from the death of my mother-in-law 4 years ago. She intended the small amount to come to me, but because she failed to fill out the paperwork, it went to my son. For the 1st time in his life, he did not waste it, but cherished it as a chance to have a home again after having lost his 1st one due to drug usage. His live in girlfriend has lost interest in him & has tried to have him removed as a trespasser. The court rejected her suit & she has now agreed to sell the house to him. When it was bought, she had credit but no money. He had no credit, but this little inheritance. He was not allowed to have his name put on the deed. He now finds himself without the money to buy it, & no credit, although he would be able to pay the mortgage & other costs. I pray that the Lord will present a way for him to do this. He truly will be destroyed to lose what he views as a gift from his grandmother. While he has not been attending church, he has expressed a desire to return. I believe with all my heart in him & know with certainty that he will have no doubt that this would be a miracle from God. Thank you for your prayers.
