THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT - Compassion and Mercy, Almighty and ever-loving God, look with compassion and mercy on our humanness, on all our struggles and weaknesses. Strengthen us for the journey ahead. Give us the wisdom to follow your call. Enliven us with the grace to be repairers and restorers of your love. Help us to be people of mercy and hope and to bring that mercy and hope to all we meet. Amen!

Lord, bring comfort to my mother in her illness. May she be given relief soon. I also pray for my son, who is very anxious and depressed right now. My two brothers who suffer addictions. And I pray for myself and my husband. That we will be as one for your glory. I ask all this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

Dear Lord Jesus and Mother Mary, Please look after me on the operating table tomorrow and guide the surgeon's hands and eyes. I pray that all the cancers are removed and healing occurs without any complications.
Please pray for me. I am loosing my faith. I feel like I am not supposed to be happy not supposed to feel good, not supposed to get the things I want in life. I work hard at two jobs and I am a good person. I was just feeling really good. There's never enough money I am always struggling. Right now I need 3,000.00 for my rent by Thursday or I have to be evicted. They are not understanding people. I am so miserable where I live. I can not afford to live anywhere else. There was a job promotion at work that was just about mine. They said I needed a degree. I started school and now the government says that I maid my cap and there is no more financial side for me. Again something close but not happening for me. I was doing really well thinking ok God has got this. Then I got court papers for my rent and I am being told I can not finish school and I will not get the promotion. Maybe this is it? My life is not supposed to get any better then this.
