Heavenly Father, by my going into semi-retirement I feel as if I am stepping out onto the threshold of a new beginning and probably a big change in my lifestyle. Lord I know that this is a wonderful opportunity which You graciously opened for me. So I beg You, be with me. Lead me and guide me, as I get accustomed to the many changes which I may have to go through. I pray, see that I am up to the tasks and duties which are expected of me. Let me carry myself with grace and love to others, and grant me the courage I would need to enter in a newer world, most of which, for me seems to be an alien one. I promise that I shall firmly fix my eyes on Jesus. In His name I pray that You, my Father, give me strength and power to do only what is Your will. Amen.
