PRAYER FOR SOCIETY
O Jesus, come back into our society, our family life, our souls and reign there as our peaceful sovereign.
Enlighten with the splendor of faith and the charity of your tender heart the souls of those who work for the good of the people, for your poor. Impart in them your own spirit, a spirit of discipline, order and gentleness, preserving the flame of enthusiasm ever alight in their hearts.
May that day come very soon, when we shall see you restored to the center of civic life, borne on the shoulders of your joyful people. Amen.

Lord, please be with me this week. I will be having surgery on my eyes. I am confident in my doctor and I feel that my mind and heart are in the right place. This needs to be done and I am following my heart. Please pray with me to be calm and know this be a benefit to my well being. Pray for my family and let them live the lives GOD has for them. Lord Jesus, help all who work hard and have little choice in the work environment they are in and need for their financial needs. Help there be changes, improvements, educational opportunities and the ability to move on to better environment, better income and better interaction and communication with their employers. Please fix the work environments that need to be made safer and more humane for all involved. Help the employer and the Labor departments to correct, improve and oversee the changes needed.
