Almighty Father, thanks for giving me another day. As I praise Your holy name and give You glory, I beg You, forgive me for my wrongdoings and bear with my weaknesses. Do not be angry with me, but in the name of Your Son Jesus, help me not to be afraid. Let Jesus guide me in doing what has to be done. Do not let me do things which are not pleasing to You. Let Your Holy Spirit protect me from fear that invades the mind, and from bitterness that sinks deep in the heart. Help me live the day. Amen.

Luke 6:27-28 (NLT)*****"WHEN MY SISTER & DAD heard the same radio sermon separately and felt prompted to pray for my former husband, I knew I should do the same. I confess that I fought the side of me that felt justified in leaving him off my prayer list. He'd abandoned me and our sons and caused a lot of pain. But in my sister's recap of the sermon, she'd reminded me that he'd made choices that would reap consequences and that he needed Jesus's help. So I prayed. Several months later, someone's comments left me wounded. "You need to pray for her, I sensed Jesus telling me. but she was horrible to me! "Pray for those who hurt you." remember? " Again, I fought.
