Eternal Father, I lift up all those who work to bring this Holy Mass to us. Please, bless them each abundantly. I ask for special prayers for my stepdaughter, Shawnda, who is 43 and has suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke this week. She has had surgery, but still has not awakened. Please, Lord, stand watch at her bedside. I have faith that, in Your time, You will take her hand and say, " Talitha ,cumi". I also ask prayer for all those suffering illness, those with addictions, the poor and homeless and those in prison. Please, Gracious God, pour out your mercy on them. I ask special healing for Ezra, Keilia and Haley. Thank You, God, for all of your gifts and graces. I praise Your Holy Name,now and forever. Amen
Eternal God and most loving Father, by Your Holy Spirit You made the precious Blood of Christ with which You shared Your Divine nature. Heavenly Father, when Your beloved Son Jesus rose from the dead, thrice he asked Peter “Do you love me?” and the answer always was “Yes, I do!” But earlier, before Jesus was crucified, Peter denied Him three times. Loving Father I exclaim, “What a Peter I am!” God of Mercy and Compassion, in Jesus' mighty name, I turn to You and pray: Look not on my sins for I detest them as they make me miserable knowing how much I hurt You. I promise to do my very best not to sin again. Keep watch on me. Amen.
