Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Dear Lord.
I started a new job last week. Well, same job position but different office. I transferred because I felt I needed a change and wanted to expand my skills in hopes of moving up within the organization. I’ve been employed with the same department for the past 12 and 1/2 years. Though I am not completely new, the scope of my work is different. I still feel a bit nervous as I am relearning things, especially some I have not seen in quite a while. Last week, I had lost some sleep as I would wake up in the morning before it was time to get up and was unable to fall back to sleep. I am hoping that subsides over time and I become more acquainted with my new duties. Everyone has been so nice and my supervisor has been really patient. I just wish I could tell myself it will be alright.
I also applied for and should be hearing about an interview shortly for a supervisor position at the office I just came from. I do miss my cousin and have been wanting to move up for quite some time. The timing was off as I was hired for my current job in the midst of applying for this other one.
Tomorrow will be 8 years since my father died unexpectedly from a heart attack. It feels like just yesterday. I still miss him a great deal.
I am also concerned about my wife as she has been having a lot of health issues, pain, and discomfort. I wish she could enjoy life more so and get back to doing the things she enjoys.
