THURSDAY OF THE FIRST WEEK OF LENT
O blessed Christ, my teacher, my savior, my God: You have commanded me to love others as myself. Yet it is so often easy to see the faults in others, for I see their outside and compare it against what is inside me. I have inflated my goodness and importance in my own mind, but have judged others for the smallest shortcoming, and I am filled by foolish pride
I vow by this prayer that I will strive to follow your Word, to forgive all who have injured me, to turn loose the petty resentments and grudges that poison the world with hatred, and to overlook the faults of others; and I ask to be pardoned wherever I have done injury to my brothers and sisters, who are your beloved children even though they, like me, are sinners. And I vow, when I fall short of your commandment, to seek out and confess my wrongdoing. Forgive me, Holy Christ, and help me to ever amend my life; this I pray, with faith in the grace you have promised to the penitent sinner. Amen.

I would love to respectfully request many prayers and the healing power of God Almighty. I have been healthy for the better part of my 40 years of life; however, after two weeks, and while taking some night classes at 99 Hudson St. (City College of NY), I was exposed to the remaining 9/11 airborne particles, hence It would literally take seven years for its side effects to manifest in my lungs. In 2008, I was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. my lungs are 53% scarred and it's progressing. I believe that I am still here because the lord has other plans for me. I am currently registered at Hunter College's Childhood Education and would like the lord to direct me as to the completion and/re redirection to another programs, i.e. Special Education. My child custody court date has been adjourned to March 10th. Please pray that my lawyer is well prepared and that the judge is very fair in this important court case. I miss my children very much and I want to be reunited with both of them ASAP. They have been unjustly pushed out of my life by a vindictive ex-wife. For our son Emanuel Thomas who is 3 yr old.We thank God for blessing us with Emanuel and his little brother Joshua who is one yr old .Emanuel is our little miracle baby , born after 6 yrs of longning for a baby, he was prematurely born , born in 6th month of pregnancy , weighing 852gm,'lord took him through eveything.He got a trcheostomy tube for breathing when he was 8 months old , due to a stenosis( a block in his airpassge).Jesus has healed the block now , which is more than 50 % open now.On 10th march after 2 and half yrs , doctors plan to remove the tracheostomy and stich the hole through a surgery.we pray for Emanuels safe and successful decannulation and pray that Jesus keep him safe under the protection of his holy blood.We thank Jesus for our amazing little Emanuel , who says Jesus has healed him. I Rosmy as a mother has seen my little ones pain and difficult times, which is like a deep sore in my heart , I ask God for consolation and stregth,We ask for prayers for all children in this world with tracheostomy tube ins similar situations and for their family, Lord have mercy on them and bless them too.we ask mother mary for her intercession in all our prayers.
