Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for all you do and all you provide for each of us. Lord please allow health, safety and peace for each of us. Please cure the pandemic virus covid_19 and all sickness. Please heal the world and all in it. Please allow everyone to travel, commute, drive safely to depart, arrive and return safely always. Please help all with their needs. Please allow safe reopening of businesses and allow people to have their jobs. Please help the openings to be safe for schools and all that open. Please help the politics to be put aside and resolve the issues people have for everyday life. Please help my family all people and myself. Please allow peace, justice for all and law and order. Please help all with their faith and help all with their prayers. Thank You. Amen.

I FOLDED the menu shut and smiled at the server. My husband and I sat at a small table, at an outdoor cafe in Mexico. "I'm sorry, we're out of halibut tonight." The waiter glanced downward before handing the menu back to me. **"We just served our last one, Senora." "Okay...the tilapia?" "No more today, Sorry." ***"What's left?" At this point, the situation seemed laughable. He bowed his shoulders and shook his head, as if at a loss for words. "I have an idea. I"m in a rut, always wanting the same things. Ask the chef to surprise me. I'm sure I'll like whatever he comes up with." Straightening, he raced back to the kitchen. When my dinner arrived, it was a feast, better than anything I could have imagined. I left more than satisfied, knowing I'd been blessed. ***Jesus often surprises me, turning my focus in a direction quite different from the one I'd planned. As I follow Him, He seasons my dreams and goals, switching them up to meet His standards. And when I serve others according to His will, even with unfamiliar tasks, I feel fulfilled, nourished from the inside out. I'm free to be what He wants me to be and my faith increases as I obey. Jesus knows what's best for me. He's never disappointed me and never will. Dear Lord please watch over my family. Provide them protection from those whom wish to do them harm. Provide peace of mind and guidance for my daughter in her pursuit to college. Protect and guide me at my jobs., and assist me with obtaining and maintaining financial growth and stability. Let truthfulness, justice, and the moral compass of others prevail for me and my family. Continue to provide protection, safety, health, happiness, love, and piece of mind to my family and me. Provide me the opportunity to grow my finances for the sake of my daughter’s education and towards my independence. Make her become more independent, grow cognitively, and prepare her to handle college and what life throws her way. Heal me from what ails me right now and get my body back to its healthy, skinny state. Help D.J.s body and soul heal that he may find peace with himself and his family, and help him grow his finances. Let there be authenticity, respect for me, truthfulness, sense of being valued, and genuine love in my relationship as that is what I am seeking and in need of at this time in my life. Help him have genuine show of appreciation for me, and be completely transparent and honest. Protect D.J. ,all my friends, family, and me from getting any colds and viruses. Heal those with the virus, protect those who come in contact with the virus, especially our healthcare workers, law enforcement, grocery/store and delivery workers, those with compromised immune systems, elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and military. Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner and fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations, especially during times of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, and in situations/places that may lend to these temptations. Make us both seek and maintain exclusivity with each other in this relationship in our thoughts and actions and be honest at all costs. Let us look to each other for support and love. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Allow us to have spontaneity and romantic thoughts/ gestures towards one another. Make us unselfish in our thoughts and gestures towards one another. May there be truth and honesty between us even in difficult situations. Lord please heal the world and the problems and man made issues that are destroying Life and peace. Please allow Justice for all. Please allow good behavior common sense respect and accountability. Please stop bad behavior by anyone in any capacity anywhere. Please allow safety and security for all people. Please allow laws to be obeyed. If laws are not fair, accurate or up to date please allow them to be replaced updated amended or rewritten for the current society if needed. Please allow there to be good people, good citizens, good police, good law enforcement if they cannot be good please make them good , reeducate, rehabilitate, or replace, remove from the area causing problems. Lord please help to fix the problems, issues, situations, causes, reasons for bad actions. Lord help everyone to be safe, healthy and have good behavior. "[Jesus said] "My purpose is to give life in all its fullness." John 10:10 (TLB)**********"ONE AFTERNOON, MY HUSBAND ATTACHED our new license plates to the back s of our vehicles. I joked about ordering a custom plate containing some profound words for the front end of my car. "Well I'll probably put Live, Love, Laugh on mine." he said.****Richard was being sarcastic. For some reason, he dislikes plaques and home decor objects with words on them(although he waited forty years to tell me). He especially makes fun of the popular quote "Live well, laugh often, love much," which is on everything from coasters to pillows and doormats. When we visited our daughter's house and found that quote hanging on her living room wall, the whole family teased Richard about wanting to buy one just like it. ***The first two words of that adage remind me that Jesus calls me to live a rich, abundant life filled with meaning and purpose. Living a full life doesn't mean that I'll have everything I want. It doesn't mean that I won't go through hardship and trials. But if I accept His love and forgiveness, allow Him to guide me daily, and imitate His life of holiness, then my life will rise above the ordinary. ****Jesus didn't come to earth, suffer, and die so that we can merely exist; He came for us to live abundantly. The best way to live well is to honor and obey Jesus's Word. Then life will overflow with things that satisfy the soul.
