Job issues and Tess's health.
Lord, grant that I may always allow myself to be guided by you, always follow your plans, and perfectly accomplish your holy will. Grant that in all things, great and small, today and all the days of my life, I may do whatever you require of me. Help me respond to the slightest prompting of your grace, so that I may be your trustworthy instrument for your honor. May your will be done in time and eternity by me, in me, and through me. Amen! (Prayer by St. Teresa of Avila)

For JMC and Joe
Inspired by 8/23 Meditation & Faith Step, Happy tears of joy for Jesus helping you find your dog Heidi safe from harm. I praise and thank Jesus for healing our senior German Shepherd, Heidi. I pray for CR that his pain ceases, he is healed of alcohol disease, and he would come to know the amazing love of Jesus and God. In Jesus name I ask this prayer. Amen.
"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off." Matthew 18: 12-13 (NIV)*********"HEIDI! HEIDI!" I YELLED, STANDING AT THE edge of the woods. Heidi, one of our four dogs, was lost, I had already looked for her down by the pond and all around our yard. Please help me find her, I asked Jesus, I had driven around the neighborhood hoping to see her. Some neighborhood kids offered to help look. Heidi is going to be in trouble when I find her. That crazy dog. I had looked every place I could think of.***Jesus, please help me find her and don't let her be hurt. Then I thought, What if she is hurt? What if we never see her again? As these panicky thoughts filled my mind. I started crying and headed to my neighbor's backyard because sometimes out dogs played together. I was hoping Heidi had found her way there. While I was standing there crying, my neighbor's dog, Sandy, kept rubbing against my leg. "Quit, Sandy, I'm busy." I said. She put her paw on my leg, I looked down and saw that it was Heidi! "Heidi!" I yelled with joy. All thoughts of punishing her flew out the window. In that moment, all I wanted to do was hold her tight and love her.****Jesus feels exactly the same way when one of His sheep is lost. He wants us found. He adores each and every one of us. He cant' stand to be separated from us. He yells for joy when one of His lost sheep comes home." --KATIE MINTER JONES*******"FAITH STEP: Pray for those you love who are lost, that they would come to know the amazing love of Jesus." "Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself." PSALM 80: 14-15 (NIV)*********THE ROAD TWISTED THROUGH SWITCHBACKS, making its way up the mountain. My husband, daughter, and I were driving to a family reunion in Colorado. Cliffs loomed over the road. Signs warned of avalanches and rock slides. The terrain was beautiful but forbidding. Out of the harsh ground, pine trees stretched toward the sky. I marveled that they could cling to the steep slopes. At first, I pictured the trees desperately straining and grasping to hold on to their safe place. But then I changed my perspective and though about the firm ground of the mountain securing the root system-and the towering pines-in place. If their roots weren't being firmly held by the mountain, they would tumble and crash into the valley below.****When Jesus tells us He is the vine, He's not telling us that it's all on our shoulders to strain and struggle and cling to Him as treacherous slopes try to pull us away. He is the strong, mature, nurturing vine that secures us, even when life feels steep and difficult. He reminds us to embrace that connection. As we spend time with Jesus each day, our roots stretch more deeply into Him, and we learn to trust that we are held by Him, woven into Him, a part of Him that He won't abandon.****When our life is shaken by storms or we feel as if rocks are tumbling down on us, it's easy to fear we'll lose our grip. What a comfort to know that Jesus will never lose His grip on us." --SHARON HINCK******FAITH STEP: Find a picture of trees growing out of steep mountains and thank Jesus for holding you firm in the difficult places of life." Thanks and prayers to Fr Paul! Please continue to pray especially for Arthur because he is not at all appreciated do to flaws.I know I need to be there for him for the rest of my life and especially to listen. He is hard on me at times but he really has my best interest and a extremely sensitive and emotional side. I an genuinely concerned about him and love him Everything may amount to nothing but I must do what I can to help if given the opportunity!I never had anyone care and to do so much for me to try and make me be successful. I need to be more mature and care about Arthur's priorities.
Protect my family.
