The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Through the intercession of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, I confidently beseech You to grant me the grace of healthy in all senses of the word grandchildren from my two daughters. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." HEBREWS 13:8 (NLT)********"IN 1997, MY HUSBAND AND I playfully discussed the possibility of living on a sailboat someday. Than conversation turned serious in August 2017, when we both sensed Jesus say, Now's the time to act. ****We knew this would be a significant transition. We asked Jesus to guard us from making decisions based on emotion and to lead us to the boat of His choice. We asked Him to go before us and open all the necessary doors to make this happen, and He answered.***Every detail fell into place. Within six months, we'd joined the ranks of official "live aboards" in a Vancouver marina and faced more changes than I can mention here.***For example, limited cupboard space means buying smaller quantities of food and going grocery shopping more often than in the past. Having no washer or dryer means using the marina's laundromat. The fridge and freezer open from the top rather than front. Our V-shaped beds require altered sheets and practically doing gymnastics to change them. The toilets flush differently than those in a house. I have no yard in which to find privacy if I sit outdoors. I've had to learn how to avoid blowing fuses accidentally. And my husband now commutes tow hours for work as opposed to running a flight of stairs from home to office as he did for three years prior. **** Whenever newness threatens to overwhelm me, I focus on the One who led us to make the transition. I pray. "Jesus, be my rock.
