Almighty and Most Merciful Father, Yours is all the glory as are all our praises and thanks for what You do to humankind. Although some of us might think that You have forgotten us, the truth is the other way round; we forget You. We stop seeing Your hand in the small things of life as we are distracted and absorbed by the vivid life around us. But, being the perfect Father, You are always with us. Pray for all those who are in hospitals suffering from Covid; all those who have lost loved ones as a result of covid; all this who are depressed and lonely as a result of covid. I pray for the homeless, hungry and have no place to go or feel that they have no one to turn to. I pray for all those who have committed their time to reaching out in helping especially during this time. I pray that we open our hearts to forgiving and giving, to be caring, respectful, humble and compassionate towards others. Teach us to be an image of yourself. Not to be selfish, conceited, angry, hurt, resentful. Have mercy on us for we are sinners and grant us peace, love and happiness. Amen.
