We give you heartfelt thanks, O Loving God, for the rest of the past night and for the gift of a new day, with all its opportunities of pleasing you. Grant that as we live the hours of this day we will do so with joy, faith, hope and love in service of you. So that when evening comes upon us we will again give thanks to you for your many gifts that enriched us throughout the day. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen! Lord God Almighty, I thank you for this beautiful day and Holy Mass. God, I pray for John who sadly passed away last week Thursday, Father welcome John into Your Kingdom. Father in heaven console and comfort us as we mourn his loss. Father, please console Magnus his brother, all his siblings, John's wife and his children. Father, I pray for peace in our hearts. I commit this week and remainder of this month into Your Holy hands, please bless and protect us and bless the intentions of our hearts.
