We give you heartfelt thanks, O Loving God, for the rest of the past night and for the gift of a new day, with all its opportunities of pleasing you. Grant that as we live the hours of this day we will do so with joy, faith, hope and love in service of you. So that when evening comes upon us we will again give thanks to you for your many gifts that enriched us throughout the day. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen! In thanksgiving for blessings
Merciful God, as I woke up this morning, I wanted to greet You for a new day and thank You for a restful night. However, my first thoughts went for the people worldwide who have lost their homes for ravaging fires which they did not start. Without trying to see who is to be blamed, in Jesus’ name, I pray and beg You, please stand with all the victims and touch the heart of those who can help in these circumstances. Whatever their creed, colour, or age, they are Your children, our brethren. Amen.
Please pray that my son does not experience any health issues while at school.
Dear Lord, thank you for all of your blessings. Please continue to provide us with your love, guidance, protection, and forgiveness. Keep our family healthy and safe, and protect us from all illnesses. Mary, Mother of God, bless my mother and son and watch over them. Please let my husband keep his job. Lord, give people strength and peace, and heal the divisions in our country and in the world. Let people see the truth. Amen.
Please pray for my friend who is battling depression. Give him peace of head and of heart. Heal his soul in Jesus' name. Amen.
Almighty God, Have mercy upon my mother. My mother is receiving medical treatment. Lord God, I humbly beg that you heal my mother, get her well soon, and touch her with your mighty hands. May you continue to bless, guide and guard us. Please go with my family. With your Love, all things are possible. Father, to You, I give my many thanks for loving me so much in ways I do not understand. Abbā, each day, things happen, which would not have, had it not been for your intervention. Please teach me not to miss them. Guide me to give You glory with whatever I do in the day and let my thoughts, words, and deeds be a continuous hymn of praise to You.
