Almighty Father, Yours are my first thoughts in the morning, to You are my first words of thanks and praise, and with You at the core are my plans of the day. Having such luck to start the day, I realize how much You love me, my Abbā, and how much more I should love You. But my heart is heavy with the presently evolving Afghanistan saga. Please, God, in Jesus’ name, protect all women and life in general in this country. Help the Afghans obtain respect for their life as they respect others. Amen.
