Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

Most gracious and eternal Lord and Savior. Thank you for all the blessings which you have brought into my life, especially my beautiful daughter Isabella. Gracious Father, Isabelle turns 16 today. This day begins a new chapter in her life. New freedoms, new responsibilities and with that, the possibility of new temptations. Please strengthen her, let your love and courage surround her every where she goes. Let her know that I love her very much and will always be here for her and I know You will be. Please let this day and year be full of amazing things and renewed blessings for her and never let her be separated from You. I pray also for the people of Afghanistan and Haiti and for all who are homeless, jobless, sick and oppressed. I pray for those who are alone and lonely. Brighten their days with your eternal love. Lord God I pray in Jesus name for the great news that the unvaccinated like me will be delivered from persecution and ostracism and being blamed for the entire pandemic.
