A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Lord, I praise and glorify your name. Thank you for all the blessings that you gave us every day. I ask for your forgiveness for I have sinned towards you and others. Abba helps humanity to be kind and gentle with each other. I went outside my home this week met several angry and hostile people. Lord, help me to show them kindness, may my joy overflow to others. I pray for the man who told me about getting a divorce from his wife. Jesus healer of bitterness towards her and replace it with love. Abba protector of me thanksgiving to you for your protection.
