A SUNDAY PRAYER - O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son cared for the welfare of every person and went about doing good for all. Grant us the imagination and the resolution to create throughout the world a just and hopeful world for the human family. Make us agents of your compassion and mercy to the suffering, the persecuted and the oppressed. We pray this through the Spirit of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Creator Father, I opened my eyes today, and my first thought was not about You but on those who at present are persecuting me and others. I know and accept the fact that we have to face such deeds. However, I also know that we have to forgive them and love them and pray for them. I am doing all this, but it hurts a lot. Therefore, in the name of Jesus, Abbā, please bless all the persecutors around the world. Touch their heart the way only You can do, and replace the evil in them with love. Amen.

Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Thank you for everything Mama Mary, to all the Saints, to all the Angels, to my Mother and to The Sunday Mass Community, please always keep our personal intentions to your prayers. Please pray for me, pray for my mother’s soul, pray for my daughter and my husband, pray for my twin sister, my two brothers and my three nephews, pray for my father and the rest of my family and loved ones, pray for our daily bread and our daily work at home and in the work place. O’ Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen. O’ God please answer all our prayers and grant all our heart’s desires, especially these ones… to heal and bless my husband Ken and brother Alex’ mind, heart and soul, to guide, bless and give courage and diligence to our children in their studies and in their work, and to Joanna to be able to pass or ace her up coming osca and her placement with joy and good value, and for me to acclaim and enjoy my oath-taking ceremony day. For me and for my family or loved ones to bless us everyday and have a great relationship with each other, and also a great relationship with our work mates or colleagues and to our jobs, a great relationship with the people surround us everyday. To heal our father’s heart, mind and soul and for him to always remember and treasure all the loves and great memories that they had with our beautiful angel mother. Amen.
