We give you heartfelt thanks, O Loving God, for the rest of the past night and for the gift of a new day, with all its opportunities of pleasing you. Grant that as we live the hours of this day we will do so with joy, faith, hope and love in service of you. So that when evening comes upon us we will again give thanks to you for your many gifts that enriched us throughout the day. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen! My dearest Heavenly Father thank you for the gift of another day. Please send your Spirit, grace, mercy, love and peace to my family (especially my granddaughter) and the families of the world. Please send a ray of your infinite wisdom to M, C, and K. Father protect our home and those who mourn. Please hear the prayers, pleas and cries of your children in Ukraine and other war torn countries. Lord Jesus Christ we desperately need your peace. Please enkindle your divine love and mercy into the heart, mind and soul of Putin and leaders who deny their citizens peace, freedom and wellbeing. Holy Trinity please send your angels to protect and comfort victims of human trafficking and slavery as well as the children who suffer greatly throughout the world. Please soften the hearts of those who harbor hatred for their sisters and brothers. Please erase division amongst your children. Have mercy on the world. Another violent act in the MTA 's subways. Lord please guide and protect all of us. Help our elected officials to get the resources, the laws, the financial sources to provide protection, deter crime and punish and get mental health help were needed. Lord please allow innocent people the strength, knowledge, ability to defend and protect themselves and others. Amen.
