PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Merciful Father, I pray in particular that my father, my mother, my mother's eldest sister, and my elder brother, through the mercy of God, will rest in peace. May God welcome them in His Kingdom. My dearest Heavenly Father thank you for this beautiful day. Please send your grace, mercy, love and peace to my family (especially my granddaughter) and to the families of the world. Please send a ray of your infinite wisdom to M, C, and k. Please protect O in her travels. Please cure T from Covid. Heavenly Father please hear the prayers, pleas and cries of your children in Ukraine and other war torn countries. Dear Jesus Christ we desperately need your peace. Holy Spirit please enkindle your divine love and grace into the heart, mind and soul of Putin and leaders who deny their citizens peace, freedom and liberty. Please comfort those who mourn. Please send your angels to protect, comfort and free victims of human trafficking and slavery as well as the children who suffer greatly throughout the world. Please send your grace and love into the hearts, mind and soul of those who harbor hatred toward the children of God. Please eradicate division and violence. Have mercy. Dear Lord, I humbly ask that my mom stop drinking alcohol or any substances. Please help her resist her urges to give in and be strong enough to stop on her own without interventions. Please help my dad support and love her and be what she needs in all aspects. Please help them be loving, kind and supportive to each other all the time. Help them realize their issues are theirs personally that do it need to be shared outside their marriage. Please help them stay together in a healthy relationship with each other. Amen.

Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio Dear God, You generously blessed Your Servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a Powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son. Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls. With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
