PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Please Lord help me to listen and to try to not give my opinion to others. Help me to understand their need to talk. I'm not being asked for anything, but to just listen and be there. I love my family, but their needs are important, and to be able to confide in me helps them to move forward. I can pray for them and just be there. My family is my life and I love them with my whole being. I just realized there need to just be there with prayers and I hope they make the right choices. I pray for everyone to have someone that will accepting them as they are, and to try to help thru acceptance and understanding. Prayers for all who are suffering. Love, Peace and understanding needs for all people everywhere.
