PREPARING FOR A NEW DAY - O God, be in our moments of rest today and give us what we need so that as this day takes its course and we encounter moments of stress, strain, struggle and effort we might also find your peace. And when evening comes and we look back over this day and we see how fragmentary everything seems to be, and how our plans have not fully been accomplished. Help us to take everything exactly as it is, putting everything in your hands, leaving our life with you, knowing that it is good! Then in your peace may we find rest, real rest in you and rise refreshed to begin our next day of new life in you. Amen!

Lord thank you for the start of a new day and week, and for the many blessings received and prayers answered. Bless all my children, relatives and friends with your love and grace today and every day of their lives. Prayers of healing for my nephew's mother Catherine Virginia. D- For all those on the family prayer list, all those fighting cancer, especially Lynne.M - Reita.B and all those on chemo and radiation treatments. Our Lady of Fatima please intercede for Us, help our Global Community, especially the people of Ukraine and all those affected by natural and man made disasters. Dear Lord I pray that my friends Madeline Scherer and Nick Bolton both recover from Nicks brain tumor illness and all the various treatments and medications. I pray that their upcoming marriage on 9/24, will bring them much Happiness and a return to good health. Dear Lord I pray that my friend Louis Faiella has a successful surgery on 9/21 to implant the defibrillator device he needs and he is returned to good health. I also pray that my friend Anthony Polizzi overcome his current health issue which is preventing his recuperation and causing him significant pain and discomfort. I pray he has a successful diagnosis and treatment and is returned to good health soon. I ask all this through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Amen.
