Dear Sunday Mass Friends in Faith,

At The Sunday Mass we honor our mothers and fathers, both living and deceased, during the months of May and June.

The names of all mothers and fathers sent to us will be placed in our intention basket and be remembered in our Mother’s and Father’s Day Masses and all our Sunday Mass throughout May and June.

Our parents are our first teachers in the faith. Join us in celebrating them during these special days and months.

Mother’s Prayer

Loving God, we place all mothers, living and deceased, in your loving hands today and always. Grant those who are still with us, the strength to face the daily challenges with courage and the wisdom to guide their children in a life of faith, hope and love. Encourage them when they are weary and inspire them when they feel overwhelmed. Hold those who have passed from this life in Your Eternal hands. Bless all mothers, living and deceased, with Your peace and love, now and forever. Amen.

Father’s Prayer

God, our Loving Father Bless all fathers living and deceased, that those living will find strength and love to always be good fathers. Let the example of their faith and love shine forth. Hold those fathers who have passed from this life In your Eternal hands, Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor them always with a spirit of profound respect and love. Amen.
