Father Robin Ryan, C.P.
Fr. Robin Ryan, CP serves as a member of the provincial leadership team of the Passionist community. He grew up in Richmond, Virginia and joined the Passionists when he was in college. He has been involved in giving retreats since his ordination to the priesthood in 1984. He has a Ph.D. in systematic theology from the Catholic University of America and has taught graduate theology at Saint John's Seminary in Boston and at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He has written many articles on theological and spiritual themes, and he is the editor and co-author of Catholics on Call: Discerning a Life of Service in the Church (Liturgical Press, 2010) and the author of the forthcoming book God and the Mystery of Suffering: A Theological Conversation Through the Ages (Paulist Press, 2011).
