Wendell J. Laurent

Lector / Associate Producer

Wendell J. Laurent is an experienced spiritual director and retreat facilitator. He currently works as the Coordinator of Vocation Promotion for the Maryland and New York Provinces of the Society of Jesus. A native of New Orleans, Wendell has been a long-time parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church in Manhattan where he serves as a lector and Eucharistic minister. He holds a B.A. in Theater and Communications from Loyola University in New Orleans and an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Caldwell College in New Jersey. Wendell is also a member of the Ignatian Schola (www.ignatianschola.org), a Manhattan-based vocal ensemble dedicated to exploring prayer through vocal music.
