Joe Simmons, Psalmist for the 2008 Papal Mass in Yankee Stadium, is Principal Cantor at the Church of St. John the Baptist in New York City. A nationally recognized music minister and speaker, Joe travels the United States presenting concerts of inspirational music and workshops for parish cantors and lectors. His CDs on the Oculus Music label and World Library Publications are widely used in healing ministries. He is the author of The Work of the Cantor: Proclaimer of the Word, Leader of Prayer (WLP) and co-author of Cantor Basics, 2nd Edition (OCP).
