Jerrod Sanders

Jerrod is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has done graduate study in Music Therapy at New York University and is a classically trained singer who has spent many years in the performing arts. He performed the role of Mingo in the Metropolitan Opera's first production of George Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, as well numerous operatic and oratorio performances in Italy, Spain, Austria, Australia, Israel, and Canada. In 2008 he sang at the Bicentennial Celebration Liturgy for the Religious Sisters and Brothers of the Archdiocese of New York at St. Patrick's Cathedral. He has been the Tenor Soloist at The Brick Presbyterian Church in New York, St. Bartholomew's in New York, as well as, Christ Church in Pelham, New York. Jerrod is currently on the music staff at Saint John the Baptist in midtown Manhattan
